Midas is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnostics and Repairs: Use state-of-the-art computer systems to diagnose and repair complex issues with vehicles.
  • Tire and Brake Services: Perform tire repairs, replacements, and balancing, as well as brake repairs and replacements.
  • Engine and Cooling Systems: Diagnose and repair issues with car heating and air conditioning, steering and suspension, belts and hoses, radiator and engine cooling systems, and batteries.
  • Oil Changes and Maintenance: Perform routine oil changes and maintenance tasks to keep vehicles running smoothly.
  • Visual Safety and Courtesy Inspections: Conduct thorough visual inspections of vehicles to identify potential safety issues and provide courtesy inspections to customers.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Possess knowledge of automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, and engine diagnostics, as well as experience using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools.
  • Education and Certifications: Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent, and possess state-specific auto repair certifications.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Be able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess excellent communication skills.
