Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Technical Support Analyst to enhance their support team. This role involves providing assistance to users experiencing technical difficulties with both hardware and software components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inquiries via phone and email in a professional manner.
  • Document all interactions and issues accurately during initial contact.
  • Diagnose user problems and utilize available resources to provide effective solutions.
  • Familiarize yourself with Help Desk tools and software to better assist users.
  • Engage in training sessions and team meetings as required.
  • Provide first-level support for Help Desk and security-related incidents.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in MS Windows, MS Outlook, and MS Office, especially MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Experience with Windows 10/11, MS O365, and Adobe software.
  • Knowledge of hardware including laptops, printers, and scanners.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Dependable and trustworthy.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively.
  • Preferred education includes a high school diploma with some college coursework; a degree in computer science is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in a computer support role is preferred.
  • Experience in a governmental environment is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure.
