Performs Ultrasound Examinations

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at Providence St Vincent Medical Center, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders. You will utilize a variety of sophisticated ultrasound equipment, taking into account individual patient's special or age-related needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct ultrasound examinations to diagnose and treat medical conditions
  • Utilize advanced ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Provide exceptional patient care and communication
Requirements:
  • Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
  • Board eligible for certification at American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Oregon Sonographer upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography within 6 months (180 days) of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 years of Clinical experience in diagnostic ultrasound
  • 2 years of OBGYN sonography experience
