Job Title: Clinical Director

Atlanta Autism Center Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Director to lead our team of professionals in providing high-quality, effective, and ethical clinical services to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Job Summary:

The Clinical Director will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of our center, supervising a team of BCBAs, BCBA Interns, BTs, and RBTs, and ensuring that clients and families receive exceptional care. This is a leadership role that requires strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with our team to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical supervision to BCBAs, BCBA Interns, BTs, and RBTs, including onboarding, training, and ongoing support.
  • Recruit, interview, and hire qualified professionals to join our team.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, behavior intervention plans, and other documentation as needed.
  • Conduct patient assessments, re-assessments, and progress reports in accordance with structured deadlines.
  • Provide case management support, including conducting intake assessments, creating skill-acquisition and behavior reduction programs, and participating in interdisciplinary collaboration meetings.
  • Supervise client caseloads, complete treatment fidelity and clinical quality checks, and maintain clinical assessment and treatment materials.
  • Assist with clinic operations, including maintaining the master schedule, addressing client emergencies, and implementing company policies and procedures.
  • Lead by example, fostering a positive work environment and promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • BCBA certification with approval to supervise.
  • At least 2 years' experience working as a BCBA (3-5 years preferred).
  • At least 5 years' experience working directly with children diagnosed with autism and/or intellectual/developmental delays.
  • Ability to learn and utilize CentralReach and Catalyst for scheduling and billing, creating authorization and reauthorization reports, creating treatment plans, monitoring data, and monitoring available service hours.
  • Possession of active CAQH portal account with ability to be credentialed as an approved provider with our network of insurance providers.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and the ability to meet Georgia driving requirements with dependable means of transportation.
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination in accordance with FDA guidance.
  • Safety-Care or Safety-Care for Families Specialist Certification or ability to complete training requirements in the first month of employment.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification or ability to complete training requirements in the first month of employment.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
  • Ability to stand and move around, get up and down from the floor or a chair, and otherwise able to play with a child for several hours at a time.
  • Ability to see for purposes of reading laws and codes, rules and policies, and other printed matter and observing students.
  • Ability to hear and understand speech at normal speech levels, in the English language.
  • Ability to communicate so others will be able to clearly understand normal conversation.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to tolerate moderate to high stress levels.
  • Daily travel moving between assigned centers.
