Assembly Team Lead

As an Assembler Lead at Builders FirstSource, you will play a vital role in our production process. We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to lead our assembly team in the Truss Shop.

Key Responsibilities:- Production Management: Oversee daily, weekly, project, or team-related production goals by planning and assigning work tasks among the assembly team.
- Quality Control: Perform job tracking and reporting, ensuring the efficiency and output of the assembler team meet our high standards.
- Training and Development: Train new assembler employees on tasks required for component assembly work, including actual assembly techniques, tool usage, and safety guidelines.
- A minimum of two years of component assembly experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior carpentry or manufacturing experience.
- Interpersonal Skills: Focuses on solving conflict; Listens to others without interrupting; Remains open to others' ideas and tries new things.
- Oral Communication: Speaks clearly in situations; Listens and gets clarification.
- Teamwork: Balances team and individual responsibilities; Gives and welcomes feedback; Contributes to building a positive team spirit; Supports everyone's efforts to succeed.

$55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience and location.
