Key Responsibilities

This role involves a wide range of responsibilities, including:

  • Supervising and coordinating all department functions in the packing, trucking, shipping, warehouse, storage, and off-line processes for shift operation of float glass manufacture
  • Working closely with the Shift Manager to determine manning requirements, scheduling concerns, maintenance issues, process status, and special quality specifications
  • Ensuring 5S and housekeeping responsibilities are fulfilled for each area in the Cold End
  • Monitoring all equipment and processes to ensure protection of the assets
  • Providing support to the Shift Manager and HE supervisor as needed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • At least two years' experience in supervision
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and people skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications
