About the Role

MU Health Care is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare family, you will play a crucial part in providing respiratory therapy procedures, including emergency situations across general, progressive care units, and ICU.

Your responsibilities will include administering services via approved protocols and guidelines, providing patient documentation through electronic medical records, and following infection control and safety standards. You will also educate and advise patients' families on respiratory therapy procedures and provide education to students and other healthcare providers.

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be involved in Code Blue, Rapid Response Team, and Trauma Response Team activities, showcasing your ability to thrive under pressure. You will also participate in Department Performance Improvement Projects, including advanced pulmonary function testing and bronchoscopy procedures.
