Role Summary:A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is essential in providing fundamental care services to patients, including assistance with daily living activities such as grooming, dressing, bathing, and feeding. Additionally, they support the nursing team with clinical tasks, including monitoring vital signs, utilizing medical equipment, and communicating patient status and behaviors.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist patients with personal hygiene and grooming needs.
- Prepare patient rooms with necessary supplies and equipment.
- Support patients during meal times and medication administration.
- Ensure patients receive adequate nutrition and medication on schedule.
- Monitor and report changes in patient vitals and behaviors to the healthcare team.
- Assist with patient mobility, including transfers between wheelchair and bed.
- Reposition patients in bed to prevent discomfort and bedsores.
- Encourage and assist patients in physical activities such as walking.
