Role Summary:

The Ink Manufacturing Quality Control (QC) team is responsible for testing and inspecting highly specialized pigment and ink products utilized in the electrophoretic display sector. The primary function of the Ink Manufacturing Quality Control Technician involves conducting both chemical and physical testing on in-process and final product samples.

The Ink Manufacturing QC Technician will report directly to the Ink Manufacturing QC Senior Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately document test results and input them into the designated database.
  • Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Statistical Quality Control (SQC) techniques.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), control plans, specifications, and safety protocols.
  • Conduct routine inspections and assessments of products, materials, and equipment to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Perform measurements, analyze data, and meticulously document test outcomes.
  • Identify and report any deviations or defects in materials or products.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality-related issues.
  • Maintain and calibrate testing instruments and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards in all quality control processes.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • An Associate's Degree in a scientific field is preferred.
  • A GED or High School Diploma accompanied by 3+ years of laboratory experience in a manufacturing setting may substitute for an Associate's Degree.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a QC laboratory is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels across various departments.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including MS Office and Windows.
