Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of system design and integration activities that require advanced expertise.
  • Support engineers in detailed tasks, converting technical directives into practical information for specific projects.
  • Supervise engineers and technical personnel engaged in gathering engineering data, creating models, designing circuits, and generating reports and testing protocols.
  • Formulate plans, process specifications, and operational procedures.
  • Conduct research, establish work standards, and manage tasks of comparable complexity, utilizing a comprehensive understanding of mechanical and manufacturing principles.
  • Evaluate and interpret test data, carry out technical assessments, and suggest methods and processes to meet design goals for new or improved products and processes.
  • Offer technical assistance for Engineering Change Notices, rework initiatives, or other moderately complex challenges and specifications.
  • Execute tests or analyses related to the development of new techniques, materials, processes, or standards, while providing recommendations.
  • Professionally undertake intricate Radio Frequency Engineering assignments.
  • Contribute to the design, development, and evaluation of RF and/or microwave systems, components, circuits, or products, including areas such as antenna design, frequency synthesizers, transmitters and receivers, Land Mobile Radio, SATCOM, and Tactical Communications.
  • Review engineering innovations, progress, and findings to ensure technical appropriateness for operational requirements and compliance with established standards.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with a potential requirement for a polygraph examination.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Applied Science.
  • A minimum of thirteen (13) years of pertinent experience.
