Responsibilities:
In this dynamic and rewarding role, you will:
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with case managers, physicians, and clinical staff in acute care settings.
- Educate healthcare professionals, patients, and families about the rehabilitation services available.
- Conduct assessments of patients with rehabilitation diagnoses at referring hospitals to facilitate admissions.
- Manage the referral process effectively to ensure timely patient transfers.
Specific Duties Include:
- Developing target lists of key contacts and decision-makers in assigned hospitals.
- Providing exceptional customer service and educating referral sources about our services.
- Ensuring high levels of referrer satisfaction and account retention.
- Distributing educational materials to potential patients and families regarding rehabilitation programs.
- Supporting marketing initiatives through educational programs and hospital tours.
- Creating strategies to expand market share in core business lines.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Registered Nurse, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist.
Preferred Experience:
- Two years of relevant experience in a clinical healthcare environment or prior experience in a clinical liaison capacity.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the preadmission process, including assessments and relationship management in rehabilitation or post-acute care settings.
- Proven sales and marketing experience, with at least one year in a related role.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to handle confidential information judiciously.
