Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team in Arlington, Virginia.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide safe and therapeutic care to patients in a holistic and caring manner, incorporating differences into the provision of care. They will perform psychosocial/physiologic assessments, tailor and prioritize caring practices to individual needs, and ensure efficiency in the delivery of care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide safe and therapeutic care to patients in a holistic and caring manner.
  • Perform psychosocial/physiologic assessments and tailor caring practices to individual needs.
  • Ensure efficiency in the delivery of care and determine immediate priorities.
Requirements:
  • Certification in Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist or equivalent.
  • Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification.
  • Registered in one of the following: RCIS, RTR VI, RTR CV, RTR CI, or licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • One year of experience in interventional Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology Lab performing Cardio Invasive Specialist duties or equivalent experience as a nurse working in a critical care hospital unit.
