Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and pick up medical equipment from homecare patients
  • Set up equipment and instruct patients on basic use
  • Schedule and organize daily deliveries and pickups according to geographic territory
  • Load and unload durable medical or infusion equipment, oxygen, and medical supplies onto delivery vehicle
  • Comply with all applicable regulatory requirements, including providing documents for driver qualification file and adhering to hours of service, daily log, hazardous materials, and vehicle inspection and maintenance regulations
Requirements
  • Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma required
  • At least one year of related work experience required
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older at the time of hire
  • Minimum of three years driving history required
  • Valid driver's license and successful completion of Apria Healthcare's Driver Training Program required
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent variations, including sitting, walking, standing, kneeling, reaching, or stooping. The employee must possess and maintain a valid driver's license, specific to the vehicle operated in the conduct of this job. Specific vision abilities required to perform this job safely include close vision, distant vision, night vision, and the ability to adjust focus to work on a computer and read documents.
