Metal Fabrication Machinist

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Machinist to join our team at a leading metal fabrication company located in Elyria, Ohio.

As a Trim Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating machines, packing parts, trimming, sanding, grinding, heating, and milling parts/components.

This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity that can lead to a long and rewarding career with opportunities for advancement. The right candidate will have a strong work ethic and ability to work without supervision.

• Operate trim press machines and perform routine maintenance tasks
• Conduct spot inspections of parts to ensure quality standards are met
• Read work orders to determine specifications and requirements
• Perform other tasks as requested by management

• Mechanical aptitude and experience with gauges, micrometers, tape measures, and hand tools
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong math skills and attention to detail
• Previous experience in trim, press, or injection molding is highly desirable
