Job Summary

This position is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction using integrative technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Instruction: Teach courses via on-ground as assigned, including evening, off-campus, and distance-based courses as required.
  • Grading and Feedback: Post grades during the term for student feedback and submit final grades for each semester by the established deadline.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete required College trainings, submit required reports, and administer and return surveys by the required deadlines.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Regularly check your email and respond to messages within 48 hours, except on weekends.
  • Syllabus and Curriculum: Submit class syllabus or update department syllabus at least 2 weeks prior to the first day of class or within seven days of the execution of contract.
Minimum Qualifications

A Master's degree in Physics or a related field with at least eighteen (18) credit hours in graduate-level Physics from an accredited institution.

Preferred Qualifications

Collegiate-level teaching experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge and/or experience using a variety of instructional delivery modes, ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with a diverse faculty, staff, and student population, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Pay and Benefits

$600 per credit hour.
