We are seeking a highly qualified Clinical Faculty member to join our team at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for providing exceptional clinical care, teaching, and research in the field of Gastroenterology.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care as a clinician-teacher, with a focus on Gastroenterology.
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in the Department of Medicine.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of educational programs and curricula.
- Participate in departmental and university service activities, including committee work and outreach.
- Engage in scholarly activities, including research and publication.
- Graduate of an accredited medical school program.
- Completion of a formal specialty training program in Gastroenterology.
- Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine or eligibility for ABIM.
- Diplomate of the American Board of Gastroenterology Medicine or eligibility for Gastroenterology Board.
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Illinois or eligible for such licensure.
