About the Role

Our Maintenance Technicians play a critical role in ensuring safe, clean, and efficient operations. They perform complex troubleshooting and repairs, coordinating with teams to achieve optimal results.

This position involves working on 12-hour shifts, three days a week, on the third shift (7 pm - 7 am).

Responsibilities

  • Supports a safe work environment by adhering to safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensures a quality work environment by following established protocols.
  • Completes process checks on specified quality forms and records equipment performance.
  • Maintains all assigned equipment safety guarding and ensures areas are clean, neat, and organized.
  • Docs required repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Monitors Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to ensure set standards are achieved or exceeded.
  • Observes gauges, dials, or other indicators to guarantee equipment is working properly.
  • Inspects equipment, products, materials, or packaging to identify errors or defects.
  • Repairs, cleans, lubricates, or adjusts machinery to maintain optimal performance.
  • Disassembles, repairs, or replaces malfunctioning/broken machinery components.
  • Reassembles equipment after inspections, testing, or repair.
  • Examines parts for defects, such as excessive wear or breakage.
  • Performs changeovers and set-ups to equipment as required.
  • Places or pours WIP components or materials into containers or fills hoppers/feeder bowls from designated Gaylords.
  • Has a broad knowledge of manufacturing equipment/processes due to advanced troubleshooting skills.
  • Clients more junior technicians on diagnosing and repairing equipment.
  • Manages projects assigned from supervision.
  • Cleans work areas using basic cleaning materials.
