Lead After School Program Coordinator

North Wasco County School District is seeking a qualified Lead After School Program Coordinator to join our team. This is a part-time position working from 2:00-5:30 PM, Monday - Thursday (potentially Friday's).
Job Summary:The Lead After School Program Coordinator will work collaboratively with the After School Program Director to plan and implement programs for students. This includes providing academic support, planning activities, and maintaining a clean and organized learning environment.
Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Program Director to plan and schedule field trips and assemblies
- Provide academic support for students
- Plan, organize, and prepare snacks and activities
- Maintain an attractive and clean learning environment
- Collaborate with the Program Director in data collection as prescribed by the Program Director and Grant requirements
- Assist in preparation of teaching aids and/or materials
- Collaborate with the Program Director in implementing behavioral programs
- Maintain strict confidentiality
- Meet frequently with the Program Director for purposes of efficient planning and delivery of instructional support
- Attend all required meetings called by the Program Director
- Function as an integral member of program staff
- Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with district personnel
- Inform parents of student progress
- Collaborate with school teams to support student engagement in the program
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and experience in working with children and/or young adolescents
- Ability to meet the requirements of the Every Student Succeeds Act
- Work effectively with and respond to people from diverse cultures and backgrounds
- Demonstrate professionalism and appropriate judgment in behavior, speech, and dress
- Have regular and punctual attendance
- Confer regularly with staff and immediate supervisor
- Follow all district policies, work procedures, and reasonable requests by proper authority
- Maintain the integrity of confidential information relating to students, families, colleagues, or District patrons
- Drug screening tests for any illegal drug or substance classified in Schedules I through V under the Federal Controlled Substances Act
- Criminal history verification - a background check for any convictions directly related to the duties and responsibilities of the position
