About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Specialist to join our team at Mechdyne, a leading provider of innovative audio, visual, and information technologies. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our newest department focusing on machining, assembly, and fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble components accurately, thoroughly, and quickly to approved specifications.
  • Read blueprints and instructions to verify the parts required prior to assembly.
  • Use tools and equipment safely for accurate assembly.
  • Inform supervisors of any part or equipment defects to ensure prompt response to the problem.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalency required.
  • Ability to use hand tools (gripping, clamping, twisting).
  • Experience using power and hand tools.
  • Must be able to stand, kneel, and crouch for long periods.
  • Must be able to climb ladders and lift in excess of 50 pounds.
  • Must read and speak English fluently.
  • Basic reading, math, and computer skills.
  • Basic communication skills.
