Cardiovascular Nurse

The Staff Registered Nurse (RN) in our Cath Lab Department works collaboratively with a team to perform diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional invasive cardiovascular and angiographic procedures. This role requires the application of discretion and independent judgment to provide age-specific and developmentally appropriate quality patient care.

The ideal candidate will participate in the development of standards of care, patient and family education, and staff education to address the needs of this specialized patient population. They will apply theoretical concepts to clinical practice, continually expanding their cardiovascular and interventional knowledge base and clinical skills.

This role also involves providing direction and guidance in the proper use, care, and control of material resources, appraising quality and effectiveness of material and equipment, and communicating with responsible individuals.

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse with a strong background in cardiovascular care and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will be a team player who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet the needs of our patients.

Requirements:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school
• Recent appropriate nursing practice (within past four years) or completion of approved refresher course
• Minimum two years experience working in a Cath or Angio Lab performing Diagnostic and Interventional simple and complex procedures
• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications from the American Heart Association
