Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Electric Materials Company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, set up, program, troubleshoot, and repair machinery, instruments, controls, and related equipment.
  • Demonstrate advanced electrical troubleshooting skills and a thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
  • Work from sketches, equipment manuals, basic designs, specifications, and verbal instructions.
  • Stay up-to-date with new developments through continuous study and training.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety regulations.
  • Assist other maintenance personnel and participate in training programs.

Requirements:

  • Three to five years of related experience and/or training.
  • Knowledge of mathematical concepts, computer operation, and related software.
  • Ability to work with abstract and concrete variables.

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly lift and move up to 10 lbs.
  • Occasionally lift and move up to 100 lbs. with the use of jib cranes and other lifting devices.

Work Environment:

  • Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock.
  • Occasionally exposed to loud continuous noise, high places, fumes, airborne particles, and vibration.

Compensation:

26-28 hourly wage.

Shift:

2nd Shift (3pm - 11pm or 3pm - 12 AM).

Sign on Bonus:

Available for successful completion of the probationary period.
