Relevant Experience:
- Experience in sign production
- Background in construction or finish carpentry
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing
- Skills in painting, CNC machining, welding, or fabrication
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail.
- Utilize advanced computer technology in a largely digital workspace.
- Apply vinyl graphics to various substrates.
- Operate large format printing and cutting machinery, including solvent and latex printers, laser cutters, and CNC routers.
- Prepare materials for graphic application, including cutting, painting, and laminating.
- Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut designs, adapting techniques based on size and complexity.
- Conduct quality assurance checks before and after production to ensure adherence to work orders and standards.
- Execute finishing processes such as laminating and mounting printed materials.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Manage inventory levels and suggest reorders as necessary.
- Assist with the unloading and organization of raw materials.
- Handle multiple projects efficiently.
- Prepare proof sheets for client approval prior to production.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
- Utilize software such as Adobe Creative Suite and other production tools.
- Learn to install various types of signs and vehicle graphics.
