UNM Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a Practice Manager to join our Behavioral Health Clinic in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. This is a full-time day shift opportunity.
Job SummaryThe Practice Manager will plan, organize, and manage the day-to-day administrative and clinical activities of the assigned UNMMG ambulatory clinic. They will develop and implement business strategies, policies, and systems to improve practice productivity, efficiency, and customer service.
Responsibilities- Manage the coordination, support, and development of strategic, budgetary, and operational plans for the assigned ambulatory clinic.
- Prepare and manage the preparation of reports to evaluate and analyze departmental activities.
- Recommend short and long-term goals to support the expansion of services to meet the needs of special populations.
- Lead a team structure, including supervising employees, selecting, training, and evaluating performance.
- Act as liaison between patients, families, providers, and staff, including oversight of patient safety and satisfaction processes.
- Facilitate patient education and develop clinic procedures to ensure compliance and quality control.
- Represent the clinic and its agenda to community constituencies, governmental agencies, and funding agencies.
- Develop and plan recommendations relative to clinic operations, including organizational structure, space, and staffing.
The Behavioral Health Clinic has an interdisciplinary team providing accessible behavioral health care to the Sandoval County community. The team works collaboratively across behavioral health and related disciplines, including psychiatry, psychology, nursing, primary care, clinical social work, counseling, and peer support.
