Caregiver for Residents

POSITION SUMMARY
This role involves the successful completion of an internal CNA Training program within a specified timeframe, followed by licensure achievement shortly thereafter.
The position entails providing essential personal care services to residents under the guidance and oversight of a registered nurse (RN), licensed practical nurse (LPN), or licensed vocational nurse (LVN).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting residents in maintaining a tidy, organized, and comfortable living space by performing tasks such as making beds, aiding with clothing, and replenishing water supplies.
- Facilitating residents' mobility within the facility by operating wheelchairs as needed.
- Preparing unoccupied beds for future residents.
- Responding promptly to call lights to assess and address residents' needs.
- Carrying out additional responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Adequate educational background to meet the responsibilities of the role.
