Schedule: Monday to Friday, with daily start times ranging from 7 am to 12 pm. Potential for varying shifts, including 8-hour, 10-hour, 12-hour, and 16-hour blocks.
Calls: Beeper calls are required on weekdays from 7 pm to 7 am, with extended hours on weekends from 7 am to 11 pm.
Clinical Details: This Level 1 trauma center and Level 3 NICU facility features 660 beds, utilizing Epic EMR and staffed by a team of 54 APPs and 16 Generalist Anesthesiologists. The site employs Qgenda for scheduling and offers a high level of autonomy, with 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratios.
Autonomy and Support: As a Critical Care Anesthesiologist, you will have the opportunity to perform regional blocks, labor epidurals, and spinal services. APPs are also trained to conduct regional blocks, providing additional support.
Staffing Model: This dynamic team is composed of 16 Generalist Anesthesiologists, 3 CV Anesthesiologists, and 54 APPs, ensuring a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Daily Operations:
- 28 OR sites, including OB, staffed daily
- High-volume caseload with varied cases, including cardiac, ortho, neuro, general, urology, ENT, bariatric, vascular, thoracic, OB/GYN, peds, and trauma
Requirements: To excel in this role, you must be willing to take call 1-2 shifts per month and possess the following qualifications:
- Current Flu Vaccine
- Fully vaccinated for Covid 19 (exemptions allowed for religious or medical reasons)
- Active GA License
- Board Certified
Salary Information: Based on industry standards and location, the estimated salary range for this position is $250-$350 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. With a minimum of 40 hours worked per week, your annual salary could range from $260,000 to $368,000.
