Position Overview:
The Ultrasound Trainee collaborates with a certified ultrasonographer to conduct ultrasound examinations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures.
- Screen patients for eligibility for various examinations.
- Transport patients to and from the imaging area.
- Complete necessary documentation for each exam.
- Maintain and organize examination rooms, ensuring they are well-stocked and ready for use.
- Assist in performing ultrasound exams under the guidance of a registered sonographer.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Must be actively enrolled in an accredited Ultrasound Program.

Required Skills:
- Knowledge of sonographic principles and instrumentation as per ARDMS standards.
- Understanding of advanced anatomy and ultrasound physics.
- Proficiency in sterilization techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Capability to operate ultrasound and non-invasive vascular equipment.
- Continuous patient assessment through careful observation and documentation.
