Responsibilities:

  1. Work collaboratively with our team to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain a positive work environment.
  2. Prepare the work area and equipment for donut decorating, ensuring all necessary tools and materials are readily available.
  3. Remove donuts and rolls from the freezer and prepare them for decorating.
  4. Place Danish, cinnamon rolls, and other items in the proof box, following proper procedures to ensure optimal results.
  5. Heat donuts and rolls in the oven prior to glazing or icing, adhering to precise temperature control to achieve the perfect finish.
  6. Ice and garnish rolls, paying close attention to detail to ensure each pastry is visually appealing.
  7. Review special orders and prepare as needed, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
  8. Clean the work area, adhering to strict sanitation and hygiene protocols to prevent contamination.
  9. Prepare icings and glazing area for the next day, ensuring everything is ready for a seamless start.
  10. Maintain strict adherence to department and company guidelines related to personal hygiene and dress, upholding the highest standards of professionalism.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent experience and six months or less of similar or related experience.
  • The ability to follow written, verbal, or diagrammatic instructions, managing multiple variables with ease.
  • Strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction with colleagues and customers alike.

Working Conditions:

  • Daily exposure to noise and equipment movement hazards.
  • Weekly exposure to dangerous chemicals/solvents.

Equipment:

  • Oven and glazing table.

Estimated Salary: $15.50-$17.00 per hour, depending on location and experience.
