**Position Overview**

As a Boat Inspector at Highwater Marine, LLC/Pontoon Boat, LLC, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of all boats to ensure they meet the company's quality standards. This includes inspecting both the interior and exterior of the boats for any defects or issues related to electrical, functional, or fit and finish.

**Essential Job Functions**

• Knowledge of all manufactured boats and their components
• Ability to communicate quality discrepancies to repair personnel and team leaders
• Ability to operate equipment to ensure all functional parts are working properly
• Use and read a tape measure with precision
• Must be able to read and interpret technical prints
• Must be able to follow inspection guidelines and inspect boats thoroughly
• Assist in updating quality control boards and maintain accurate records
• Conduct spot inspections on production lines as needed

**Requirements**

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes in priorities
• Exposure to noise, dust, and cleaning chemicals
• Ability to use a ladder and climb in and out of boats
• Must be able to lift and handle up to 25 pounds
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to use software applications
• Ability to climb stairs, climb in and out of boats, kneel, and bend down to floor level for extended periods
• Read and follow inspection guidelines and technical documentation
• Read and interpret pressure gauges
• Good/legible handwriting and ability to maintain accurate records
• Willingness to be cross-trained and adapt to new responsibilities
• Ability to perform and maintain performance of one quality role
