Store Clerk Job Description

Cooperative Producers, Inc. (CPI) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Store Clerk to join our expanding team. As a Store Clerk, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe store environment, and supporting the growth and success of our cooperative.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service, greeting customers with a smile and responding to their needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Stock shelves, create displays, and maintain a visually appealing store environment.
  • Prepare food service items, receive payments, and maintain a safe and clean store setting.
  • Monitor customer transactions and experiences, and follow proper guidelines as established by CPI.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED or related experience and/or training in retail.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds at a time.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and working at a cash register.
  • Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
