Position Overview
The Propulsion Plant Team Trainer (PPTT) Simulator Engineering (PSE) unit is engaged in the innovative design, production, testing, and delivery of the PPTT to enhance the Next Generation Training Program (NGTP). PSE is tasked with the creation, testing, and delivery of internally-developed PPTT systems, including the simulated sound system, communication system, audio/video system, and I/O architecture. These systems will be integrated into a pioneering PPTT, revolutionizing Navy training for years to come.

An exceptional opportunity exists for an electrical engineer to contribute to these significant initiatives. Experience in audiovisual or telecommunications is highly valued. This position is open to engineers willing to work at various sites.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related scientific field with 6 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree in engineering or a related scientific field with 4 years of relevant experience.

- Familiarity with the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Training Program
- Experience with audiovisual and telecommunications systems
- Ability to evaluate and develop electrical designs based on established technical requirements

Annual compensation ranges from $92,000 to $145,200, based on experience and qualifications. Salary details are provided as a general guideline and may vary based on market and business considerations.
