Position: Echo and Vascular Ultrasound Technologist
Organization: Medical University of South Carolina
Work Schedule: 12 hours per week
Role Summary: The Echo and Vascular Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for conducting adult echocardiographic and vascular examinations, including transthoracic echocardiography, carotid duplex imaging, and both arterial and venous assessments under supervision. The role requires a solid understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and the ability to generate precise reports.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Currently enrolled in an echo and vascular ultrasound program
- Additional relevant coursework is advantageous
- Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist is mandatory
- Current Basic Life Support certification is required
