At Northern Light Health, we are seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Lakewood Cont Care Center in Waterville, ME.
Salary: Estimated $65,000 - $75,000 per year

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide care for ill, injured, or convalescing patients or persons with disabilities in hospital or other healthcare settings.
- Administer prescribed medications or start intravenous fluids, noting times and amounts on patients' electronic medical records.
- Observe patients and report changes in patients' conditions, such as adverse reactions to medication or treatment, and take necessary action.
- Answer patients' calls and determine how to assist them.
- Measure and record patients' vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration.
- Provide basic patient care or treatments, such as taking temperatures or blood pressures, dressing wounds, treating bedsores, giving enemas or douches, rubbing with alcohol, massaging, or performing catheterizations.
- Maintain a safe environment complying with NLH policies and procedures; report and directly address environmental hazards and violations of patient safety policy and/or protocol when involved or observed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Maine.
- BLS certification to be obtained prior to independently caring for patients and kept current.
- Graduate from an accredited LPN program or state-determined eligibility.
