We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at Memorial Health University Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue used to diagnose medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' anatomy
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them to capture optimal images
- Accurately interpret physician scanning instructions and administer contrast materials as needed
- Assist radiologists in administering medication and contrast agents, performing biopsies, and providing patient care
- Prepare examination rooms for CT scans and invasive procedures, and maintain room cleanliness and inventory of supplies
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification
- Registered Computerized Tomography Technician certification within 1 year of employment start date
- Certificate in a related field
Memorial Health University Medical Center is a 600+ bed hospital that has provided quality healthcare services since 1955. We are a regional referral center for heart care, cancer care, trauma care, children's care, high-risk pregnancies, and high-risk newborn care.
