Caregiver Mentor Specialist

We're seeking a dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Sevita. As a key member of our community-based services, you'll play a vital role in helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities thrive.

About the Role:

• You'll work closely with participants to develop personalized plans that promote their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• As a mentor, you'll provide guidance and support to help individuals set and achieve their goals.
• With your compassion and patience, you'll help create a safe and supportive environment that fosters meaningful relationships and a sense of belonging.
• You'll be responsible for assisting with daily living tasks, such as personal hygiene and medication management.

  Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination
  • Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
