Job Description:

As a Quality Supervisor for the Aearo Technologies, LLC site in Newark, DE, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse team of innovative professionals.

This role provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career.

The Impact You'll Make in this Role:

  • Partner with quality and business leaders to support the Quality Management System.
  • Champion and lead internal and external audits, including associated corrective actions.
  • Foster customer quality and improve customer satisfaction through customer visits and communication.
  • Implement total quality management strategies, including effective communication of quality strategies and priorities.
  • Represent the quality department and serve as the gatekeeper for quality for New Product Introduction (NPI) and commercialization.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to the Newark quality and operations teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution and five (5) years of experience in quality, product engineering, manufacturing engineering, design engineering, or operations in a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • OR High School Diploma/GED or higher from an accredited institution and eight (8) years of experience in quality, product engineering, manufacturing engineering, design engineering, or operations in a private, public, government, or military environment.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed in this role include:

  • Three (3) years of direct supervisory experience in a quality or manufacturing environment.
  • Automotive, Aerospace, or related industry experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • Experience implementing and managing to ISO9001 and IATF16949.
  • Experience working with global Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) customers, including PPAP and FAI.
  • Experience working with NPI and commercialization as a quality gatekeeper.

Travel: May include up to 15% domestic
