Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Scientist to join our team in Lansing, Michigan. This role will involve project management, fieldwork, and technical report preparation. If you have a strong background in environmental science and geology, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct site visits, oversee field personnel, and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Prepare technical reports, including Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Baseline Environmental Assessments (BEAs), and Documentation of Due Care Compliance (DDCC) reports.
  • Evaluate progress, ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies, and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on project management, fieldwork, and technical reporting.
  • Holding a 40-Hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) certification.
  • Familiarity with Michigan's environmental regulations, particularly Parts 201 and 213 of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act (NREPA).
  • Experience with report writing, field sampling/methodology/techniques, and industry standards.
