Responsibilities

The Cardiac Ultrasound Specialist will use ultrasound to visualize internal cardiac structures, obtain measurements of cardiac valves, ventricle, and left atrium, and visualize blood flow. The specialist will assist the physician with complex ultrasound procedures and promote the smooth and efficient operation of the Cardiopulmonary Department.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Completion of Echocardiogram program within 90 days of hire or equivalent training
  • Current BCLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
  • Able to assist physician with TEE testing
  • Previous experience in performing Echocardiograms of all ages preferred
  • Proficient computer skills
