Job Title: Structural Engineer

A leading Architecture, Engineering, and Construction firm located in the suburbs of Chicago is seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join their team.

Job Summary:

As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for performing structural engineering design and analysis for identified systems under the close supervision of a senior engineer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform structural engineering design and analysis for identified systems
  • Participate in project-related meetings to coordinate activities and communicate designs
  • Assist with preparation of engineering deliverables
  • Participate in field surveys, condition assessments, and site investigations
  • Perform construction administration-related tasks, including submittal review, responding to RFIs, and observation of construction-related activities
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of structural engineering experience for buildings
  • MS Degree in Structural Engineering required
  • RAM Structural System, SAP2000, and Revit experience a plus
  • Strong communication/presentation skills
