Position Overview:

The Treasury division at McDonald's is dedicated to driving business advancement and enhancing stakeholder value through exceptional global financial leadership and expertise.

Aligned with McDonald's core values, the Treasury team acts as trusted partners, safeguarding and enhancing the McDonald's brand by optimizing access to capital and liquidity, protecting company assets, managing financial risks, and providing essential financial guidance to facilitate informed decision-making.

McDonald's is on the lookout for a Senior Treasury Analyst to become a vital member of the Global Treasury Team. Reporting to the Director of Treasury Operations, this role collaborates across departments with Global Funding.

The position involves supporting the international cash pool, global cash positioning and forecasting, bank account management, and other critical activities essential for global treasury operations.


Key Responsibilities:


- Oversee and support treasury functions, global banking, and liquidity management across various areas, including international cash management, transaction execution, treasury systems, internal controls, banking products, reporting, and issue resolution.

- Enhance cash efficiency across international legal entities, assess cash positions and liquidity pools, and provide recommendations for optimization.

- Aid in the execution, monitoring, and reporting of the repatriation strategy to a diverse audience, collaborating cross-functionally with subsidiaries, tax, legal, and accounting teams.

- Maintain and nurture relationships with internal and external global partners, including banks and finance contacts across subsidiaries.

- Generate and update various monthly reports: Cash Forecast, Intercompany Loans, Bank Fees, etc.

- Assist in managing the intercompany lending portfolio and global cash pooling activities, while advising the Treasury Operations team on corporate cash flow projections.

- Monitor intercompany interest calculations, accounting entries, payment activities, and aging schedules.
- Support foreign exchange trades and payments.
- Manage global bank accounts, perform treasury management system administration, and troubleshoot related issues.
- Facilitate the opening/closing of bank accounts and update authorized signers as necessary.
- Handle requests for international Letters of Credit and maintain original documents.

- Support global banking partners, local finance teams, and audit requests (both internal and external) to ensure compliance with SOX, FBAR, and treasury regulations.

- Provide analytical support, troubleshooting, and reporting assistance to the cash management team, acting as a backup when required.
- Address ad hoc treasury requests as needed.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in Corporate Finance, Treasury, or Accounting.
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Strong grasp of corporate and international financial management principles.
- Critical thinker with the capability to understand, develop, and evaluate the comprehensive implications of actions and processes.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Tableau, and quick to learn new software applications.
- Experience with City Financial or other treasury management systems and various banking platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- CTP, CPA, or MBA credentials are advantageous.
