We are seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Loan Originator to join our team at Glacier Bank. As a Mortgage Loan Originator, you will be responsible for originating a high volume of mortgage loans and managing the entire loan origination process.
Key Responsibilities- Meet or Exceed Loan Production Goals: Meet or exceed loan production goals as set annually by your manager in conjunction with goals set for Glacier Bank annual production.
- Interview and Analyze Credit Applicants: Interview credit applicants and determine borrowing requirements. Obtain complete application and analyze financial information. Conduct credit investigation and provide credit approval within credit approval authority and automated underwriting guidelines.
- Develop Relationships with Potential Customers: Identify and develop relationships with potential new customers. Maintain and develop an ongoing relationship with current customer base. Continuously project an image of professionalism and concern in dealings with the public.
- Work with Loan Processor: Work closely with loan processor as a team to efficiently close all loans in a timely manner with proper documentation. Work with loan processor to ensure that all disclosures reports, financial statements, tax returns, title insurance commitments and appraisals are reviewed prior to closings.
- Stay Current on Loan Programs and Regulations: Keep current on loan programs and lending (federal and state) regulations as well as all compliance and bank policies and procedures. Respond to audit reports as requested or required.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service: Embrace service pledge and provide extraordinary and consistent service to all internal and external customers. Listen to and ask about customers' needs.
- Participate in Training and Community Service: Participate in required training, staff meetings, and lobby displays. Participate in Community Service and Bank-sponsored activities that serve and support the mission and values of Glacier Bank.
- Represent Glacier Bank Professionally: Represent Glacier Bank in a professional manner which includes a professional image, confidentiality, a positive can-do attitude, good attendance, punctuality, flexibility and adaptability in meeting bank and customer needs.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Mortgage Loan Originator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have:
- At Least One Year Sales and Customer Service Experience
- Previous Lending Experience and/or Education
- High Degree of Attention to Detail and Excellent Organizational Skills
- Ability to Prioritize and Organize Heavy Workload
- Ability to Work in a Professional Manner and Demonstrate Courtesy, Customer Service, and Tact
- Basic Computer Skills with Working Knowledge of Word Processing, Spreadsheets, and General Computer Applications
