About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Card Technology team at Capital One. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java and Go, with experience in cloud-based development and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest technologies. Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions
  • Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends and experimenting with new technologies
  • Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions
  • Utilize programming languages like Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, as well as open source frameworks and cloud services
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Java or Go, or 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
  • 3+ years of experience in open source frameworks, or 2+ years of experience in Agile practices
