Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Janitorial/Custodial Specialist to join our team at EBS-4U INC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial kitchen cleaning and floor care, with a focus on maintaining a clean and orderly environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial sweeping, mopping, and cleaning of floors
  • Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, walk-in freezers, and storage areas
  • Removing trash and other refuse
  • Cleaning dining room and prep room
  • Dusting equipment, furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces
  • Cleaning glass and mirrors
  • Cleaning lavatories and other bathroom fixtures
  • Reporting need for repairs to equipment
  • Performing heavy cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, burnishing, stripping, and waxing floors
  • Walls cleaned
  • Performing routine floor maintenance tasks such as stripping, refinishing hard and resilient flooring, and other surfaces
  • Organizing custodial closets and spaces
  • Maintaining working condition of cleaning equipment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or related fields
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Certified Executive Housekeeper (C.E.H.) is a plus
  • Ability to speak and read fluently in English

Work Schedule:

  • Overnight shift
