Culinary Professional

Navion Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team at Keowee Square in Seneca, SC. This part-time opportunity involves assisting in meal preparation, oversight, and serving to deliver exceptional food service in an Assisted Living Community.

This role plays a critical part in maintaining and enhancing resident satisfaction through culinary and managerial skills.

The ideal candidate will possess a current ServSafe certificate, a high school diploma or equivalent, and experience in food preparation and therapeutic diets.

We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Preparing palatable foods that meet safety and sanitary requirements
• Learner-oriented tasks and following written and verbal instructions
• Promoting a team environment and ensuring proper and timely service
• Maintaining well-groomed appearance and adhering to dress requirements

To be eligible for this position, you must have:

• A current ServSafe certificate or ability to participate in food services sanitation training
• A high school diploma or GED accepted
• Culinary apprenticeship or training preferred
• One year of job-related experience, including food preparation, full-line menu items, and therapeutic diets
