Game Manager

The Fall Line, a private members-only golf club nestled in the scenic longleaf pine ecosystem of Georgia, is seeking a highly skilled Game Manager to oversee the management of all facilities and activities related to hunting, fishing, and target shooting. • Human Resources: The Game Manager will be responsible for maintaining a positive and respectful work environment, ensuring that all employees are treated fairly and with dignity. This includes providing ongoing training to direct reports and staff members, maintaining NSCA certification, and working cooperatively with the Director of Human Resources to develop position descriptions.
• Safety and Regulatory Compliance: The Game Manager will develop and implement detailed safety rules and protocols, ensuring that all employees, members, and guests adhere to hunting and land use laws and regulations. This includes maintaining appropriate certifications and licenses, ensuring staff are properly trained and certified, and obtaining and maintaining necessary permits.
• Hunting: The Game Manager will work closely with the Club's management and consultants to develop a first-class quail hunting program, designing programs that meet the needs of both beginner and experienced hunters. This includes scheduling and coordination of hunts, hiring and training hunting guides and staff, and maintaining basic firearms.
• Fishing: The Game Manager will work with the Club's aquatics Biologist to develop a first-class fishing program, training and developing staff who will provide guiding services, selecting and maintaining fishing gear, and maintaining boats and docks.
• Clay Bird and Target Shooting: The Game Manager will develop a world-class Clay Bird Shooting program, ensuring a safe environment for members, guests, and staff, providing training and development of regular Clay Bird staff, and regularly guiding members and guests.
• Procurement, Maintenance, and Care for Supplies and Equipment: The Game Manager will adhere to club policies regarding purchasing equipment and supplies, working within established department budgets, and seeking advanced approval for any purchase over $2,500.

• Experience in hunting, fishing, and target shooting operations

• $150,000-$175,000 salary, depending on experience
