About the Position:

AAA United States, Inc. is seeking an experienced Avionics Technician to join our team in a complex and ever-changing work environment.

The Avionics Technician will be responsible for installing, inspecting, testing, adjusting, or repairing avionics equipment, such as radar, radio, navigation, and missile control systems in aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, modify, and service aircraft avionics, electrical, and electronic equipment.
  • Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required.
  • Adhere to Company's Work Requirements for factory, shop, and/or hangar positions.
  • Comply with environmental health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Participate in 5-S activities.
  • Perform all assigned tasks in a safe and timely manner.
  • Assist with mechanical/electrical removals and installations.
  • Assist with maintenance at off-site locations as needed.
  • Assist with other maintenance disciplines as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • The ability to obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications.
  • The ability to successfully complete the following trainings provided by AAA United States, Inc. after recruitment:
    • Health & Safety
    • General aircraft familiarization
    • Quality trainings
  • Training from an avionics/electrical Aircraft Technical School or other substantiated equivalent.
  • The ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) if applicable.
  • A Certification, P Certification, or A&P Certificate.
  • GROL (General Radiotelephone Operator License) or AET (Aircraft Electronics Technician) Certificate.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years minimum experience in Aviation Production.
  • Experience on corporate jets.
  • Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:
    • Knowledge of station safety, quality (clean as you go/FOD) and OSHA regulations.
    • Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages):
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
    • Technical Systems Proficiency:
    • Basic PC skills
