Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective operational risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with business lines to ensure effective risk management practices and reporting, including risk assessments, vendor due diligence, and issue management.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive vendor management program, including contract review, vendor onboarding, and ongoing due diligence.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Perform analytics on consumer complaint data to identify trends and report for review.
  • Assist with periodic monitoring of key risk indicators to identify risk exposures across the organization and prepare reports for review by Senior Management and the Board.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and five or more years of working experience professionally in a related field, such as operational risk, independent risk officer, strategy risk, branch administration, and/or CRA.
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills to effectively work with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, paying careful attention to detail, and possessing an investigative mindset.
  • Compliance and/or regulatory certifications or designations are strongly preferred.

The pay range for this position is competitive and is based on several factors, including relevant experience, skills, education, and market conditions.
