As a vital member of our healthcare team, the Critical Care Registered Nurse at Cleveland Clinic plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care in our Intensive Care Unit. You will engage with patients of varying ages, applying advanced nursing practices to ensure optimal health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical histories and current conditions.
- Administer specialized nursing care tailored to individual patient needs.
- Monitor and document patients' vital signs and overall health status, communicating findings effectively with the healthcare team.
- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Utilize critical thinking and sound judgment to address patient needs and enhance recovery.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Nursing program.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.
- A minimum of two years of recent experience in a Critical Care setting.
- Current certification in the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) is required.
