Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Memorial Health University Medical Center. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing all established nuclear medicine procedures, including ordering, preparing, and storing radiopharmaceuticals, administering intravenous or venous line injections, and interacting with physicians to adjust diagnostic studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including calibration and quality checks, while practicing radiation safety and observing universal precautions.
  • Order, prepare, and store radiopharmaceuticals, and administer intravenous or venous line injections as authorized by physicians.
  • Interact with physicians to adjust diagnostic studies and manipulate raw data.
  • Review studies for correct positioning and overall quality, and perform decontamination procedures.
  • Participate in on-call duties and/or work variable shifts to meet department needs.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Associate Degree in a related field.
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
