Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a perioperative nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care during surgery and post-operative phases.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medications and perform clinical treatments as ordered by physicians
- Document patient care given and communicate with the care team, physician, patient, and family
- Assist patients with daily activities, including personal hygiene, nutrition, and ambulation
- Evaluate learning needs of patients and provide education on self-care and wound management
- Work collaboratively with other disciplines to coordinate patient care and advocate for patient well-being
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Current Kentucky State Licensure or Compact Licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
