Job Summary

As a PACU Nurse with Catholic Health Initiatives, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing exceptional care to patients in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans for PACU patients, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Apply cultural sensitivity and compassion to all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in PACU care.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the State of North Dakota.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Ability to participate in a rotating call schedule and respond to work assignments within 30 minutes.
